We loved our lakeside site at Sunset Point RV Resort on Lake LBJ - especially the sunsets - where flocks of birds would fly by each night.
Enjoyed hikes at both Pedernales Falls & Inks Lake State Parks (would love to go back and stay at the parks on another trip)

We took the Jeep for some off-roading at Hidden Falls Adventure Park... kinda like ski runs for motorized vehicles with trails marked with “1-5 diamonds” for difficulty. Since we have not modified our Jeep(yet) we stuck to the easy/moderate trails they recommended for us - it was fun.
We also met up with our friends Pam & Mike and visited a couple of wineries/brewery in the hill country.
