Minnesota has some beautiful state parks.
This fireplace in the Bemidji visitor center has stone from many states along the Mississippi River, a couple of towns in MS are front/center! The lady working that day was so very helpful with information about the area and future trips we might consider taking - love these local visitor centers.

The park host recommended the local brewery for dinner.
great food and beer! (I had a caprese Gyro with Chicken - Yum!)
The Paul Bunyan legend is big in this area
A giant Paul and Babe are at the visitor center
and many shops have Paul Bunyan in their name.
We enjoyed a 11+ mile bike ride on the trail.
We love the state parks, but again had a fun time (not)
getting our coach level & slides fitting in with the trees..
