We made a short stop in Louisville/Bardstown Kentucky (making our way back to Texas)!

We stopped by Bourbon Trail Distilleries, getting 10 distillery stamps in our Kentucky Bourbon Trail book... only 7 more to finish it out.  

There are still many more than that to visit- so there will be another trip in our future. 

We also visited the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular in Louisville, celebrating its 7th year with over 5,000 carved pumpkins (all are real pumpkins except for the ones up in the trees).

Pumpkins, Pumpkins everywhere!

We thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the pumpkins on the 1/3-mile walking trail.

The walk was thru the year/seasons with lots of pumpkins carved to 

represent them in addition to all kinds of stuff

They have to replace the pumpkins every 3 – 7 days depending on the weather conditions.
