Our final day in Yellowstone was another good day,
especially for seeing more wildlife that we hadn’t seen in the park before.
A stop at Roaring Mountain that has steam escaping on the mountain.
Then on to Mammoth Hot Springs where we walked the trails around the terraces/springs that deposit travertine - very pretty
Next we stopped by Undine Falls – a unique triple cascade fall & we also hiked part of the Mount Washburn trail.
Lastly we headed to the Hayden Valley for a drive in search of more wildlife and we hit the jackpot again!
First we found a small herd of bull Elk
(we had only seen females before now)
Then we saw a Grizzly Bear on the other side of the Yellowstone river!
With the binoculars, we could see he was wearing a tracker collar.
Shortly after that we saw a Bear with 2 cubs and we were able to follow their progress down the road for quite a while as they were going the same direction we were in the Jeep - those cubs were so cute!

*Miles Driven in the park: 158
*Wildlife Spotted: Lots of Elk including Bull Elk, 2 Big Horn, Grizzly Bear, chipmunks, Bison/Buffalo & a Black Bear with 2 cubs!
*Fitbit Tracker: Miles: 5.77 Steps: 12,818 Floors: 64
